Source: eatfromthetreesAt first I was like, “I can just like this because I have already seen and revelled over the video!” but no. No. (The best bit is the follow up. “Ryan says that was the best intro I’ve ever given him. … and what did you mean by ‘intro’?”)

MIKAELLA NOTHING HAS EVER BEEN MORE FOR YOU
I really appreciate how small each gif is because it means I don’t have to choose which one of them to stare at.

More Greenwald, from the same show. I think that’s Stuart Zender behind him. This set was popular today …

so what is a tucker telephone?
It’s a torture device made out of an old wind-up telephone! They’d take the electric generator from the phone, hook up some batteries, and then attach wires to the person being tortured. Crank the handle on the phone and bam, you’ve got a lovely little electric shock. So-named because it was developed at the Tucker State Prison Farm in Arkansas prior to some massive systematic reform! (Fun story: something similar was used at Abu Ghraib, apparently. Y U P.)
And here’s the relevant song! Made it a bit more “welp” finding that out.
Relevant lines:
I spun the tucker telephone, I turned my eyes to bone
I kept dialing your number but you were not at home
You’re not alone.
